Meet the Designer: Richard Hooper is the expert Landscape Designer for Exterior Design Landscapes in Colorado Springs. Richard grew up in the landscape and design business, and started working in the nursery industry on Marshall Nurseries 700 acres when he was 11 years old.
Furthermore, he learned skills from old nurserymen who had been in the trade for many years. They have since past on, but Richard has kept the expertise that he learned from them alive.
Richard enrolled in Landscape Design classes at UNO in Omaha, NE to further his education and volunteered to host garden seminars for small groups of women in Omaha who wanted to learn more about plants and grow prize winning rose bushes.
